just air the house
but frankly, the formaldehyde lingers for years.
it's better to use safe material.

A kitchen cabinet maker told me E2 is the norm in Malaysia and questioned me if anyone fell sick due to long term exposure to formadelhyde in Malaysia.

that's the reason I choose ikea.
formaldehyde free

I have a cheapo wardrobe. 5 years of airing still stinks of formaldehyde

BTW, consider xiaomi air purifier. they have dedicated filter for formaldehyde

basically the air filters use charcoal activated carbon to absorb the formaldehyde.

so choose a filter that you can afford to change frequently.

the center core is the carbon filter

Dyson use catalytic converter to remove formaldehyde
Cryptomelane or kalium manganese oxide
Dyson claims it works but I am skeptical of it. the converter looks like easy to get clogged
