My preference is always at nice restaurant with comfort soft musics or kedai kopi /seafood with nice dish to wack with beers /or bring own liquor (singlemalt Glenfiddich 18 years or above)

Or tapau and sit at the balcony to drink. (This is for deep discussion among close friends or just with wife).

Also prefer single malt instead of mixed, always with cold ice with gingerale or just raw.

Or stout / german wheatbeer (stay healthy mah)

Was alone in Dotonbori years ago, enjoying squid balls and local beer. Easily was my best drinking experience ever. Damage was just RM60+. I don’t remember how big is the beer mug shown here, but it’s fucking big.

For me as long there are black beer more than enough more smoothly you don't hang over no matter how many volumes you drink next day can straight go to work without issue , trust me black beer can solve all your stress

Well, for me if beer it’s either some local bars or Japanese Izakaya restaurants, lately more of the latter because there’s some really good Japanese beers and nothing beats having grilled skewers with beers…hnnnnnnnghhhh.

Apart from that if at home or friend’s place then usually Whiskey, mostly single malt (Macallan) or Japanese whiskey (Suntory)
