Dear XBOX360, DOA4 and PGR fans,

I wish to bring to your attention regarding this tournament called Championship Gaming Series (http://www.thecgs.com/index.php?region=asia) that is happening soon at CineLeisure on 5th October. This tournament is gonna be covered by ASTRO.

This may be your chance to earn a $30,000 USD 1-year contract to be a pro-gamer

How it works is like this :

1) You join the Malaysian Qualifier tournament at Cineleisure Participation is FREE! All you have to do is to sign up at the CGS website.

2) Win the tournament in your category.

3) You will team up with the no.1 of other gaming disciplines (PC Disciplines: FIFA, CS ; XBOX Disciplines: PGR, DOA4) to form Team Malaysia

4) Team Malaysia will go against 5 other Teams from Singapore, Dubai, China, Korea, Australia in the PAN-ASIAN Finals. The format of this tournament is a round-robin league. Each individual discipline scores points for its team in this league.

5) If Team Malaysia to get into the top-4 out of the 6 participating countries, all members of Team Malaysia will be signing a $30,000 USD 1-year contract to be a pro-gamer.

6) Team Malaysia then head over to LA in December to participate in the World Finals, where you stand a chance to win $100,000 USD.

If you play DOA4, PGR on the XBox360 and reckon you stand a chance, make time for this tournament! This could be a chance of a lifetime.

For PGR, they'd be looking out for 2 best players to join Team Malaysia.

For DOA4, there is a MALE and FEMALE category, so if you know of any l337 gaming babe around who plays that game, ask her to go for it!

I have no affiliation with the organisers or sponsors, am just a passionate person about the local competitive gaming scene. All of the above info are info that I have gathered from the CGS website, or through gaming contacts and may not be 100% accurate, but it's almost there. 5th October on saturday?? It was on Friday rite?

5th October is the event, the registration started 2 days ago

I know just that it mention on the portal is on saturday but my calender show it on friday.... a little bit confuse, sorry
