Wow Kaya. What's the electrical bill look like with one of those

Cast iron has low heat conductivity but has good heat retention but unless you serve your food in pot, then no advantage  laugh.gif

I used all type whichever on sales  laugh.gif . Stainless steel, ceramic, PFOA, PTFE, and cast iron. Well any non-stick type will not last. The property will run off sooner or later. With proper use probably, Teflon type last longer but the ceramic is easier to use since it is more durable, which I prefer the most.

cast iron probably the best but the after care is a pain in the ass. and i dont have an oven to properly heat it for the after care.

Can use with induction cooker?

Induction cooker is more efficient than electric heater. It is safe and can be programmed for duration and intensity

I use Tefal, nothing fancy.

Tefal > all but u must check the series got induction support or not.
Some Tefal dont work with induction. Those that say "GAS ELECTRIC CERAMIC" will NOT work for induction..

Compatible on gas, electric, halogen and ceramic hobs except induction

I wish to buy a Le Cruset but not sure if worth it  sweat.gif

Tefal the bestest but after 2 years better tukar baru ok..

Tefal has one that is suitable for induction cooker but the price is higher than the non induction cooker suitable one.

I bought one from Ikea. Trusted brand name so Teflon coating should be safe. When using non stick it is important not to overheat the pan. Not suitable for dry dishes.

Ikea don't have induction cooker suitable one

This is the bestest!
No fancy scamming toxic 'non-stick'!
Last for many many years without any problems of fading!

I have SS big kuali. SS kuali needs heating up and oil to prevent from sticking.

Why not? As long as the pot or pan with bottom that can stick the magnet, it can be used with induction. I've been using induction hob more than 20 years already  smile.gif

Do note that not all stainless steel pan can work with induction. If it made of non-magnetic stainless steel, it will not get heated. The process on how stainless steel is made will make it magnetic or not.

Mine can, have been using for 15 years

Cast iron work with induction and so on anything you can name it, throw inside firewood without problem too if anything you need to cook until this level
