More floor more profit to developers. More floor not an issue because people use elevators.

The selling point most likely near to city center or work place.

The whole point is the greatly increased density which stresses the infrastructure of the area and as stated before adds to the oversupply woes.

Developers will always try to maximise profit, it’s their job to do so. Holding them accountable is another.

Everyone wants to stay in cities, earn a good income, enjoy amenities but land resources are limited.

If a developer is given 1 acre land to built residential in Bukit Beruntung, I doubt it will go beyond 5 storey.

Well yes of course. Singapore is a truly landlocked island and they don’t have many residential buildings over 36 storeys.

I’m just saying if we continue on this trend of building 50/60 storeys then you will have a very much deflated market of our own doing.
