dun understand,but what u're saying is i can simply connect the ps3 to the modem without have to link them with pc and let the ps3 to the connection dialing? rclxub.gif

Yes.. given that the modem is connected via LAN cable, not USB cable (for USB modems)

Yeah it's the same thing. However normally if the modem can act as bridge mode (dialling by PC), I think it can be converted into router mode (the modem dials itself). Just give the modem model number so I can find more info about it blush.gif

Of course you can. However do make notes of existing configuration before changing it into router mode icon_rolleyes.gif

my lense is giving prob again. bedebar jugak hati aku nih. kejap detect, kejap tak detect. kalo dah tak detect tuh, aku restart ok balik. haish..

baru lepas replace lesne las wiken.. wireless ok je.. tapi aku letak wireless router aku kat luar lah.. ada lah dalam 5 meter je dari ps3.. tapi putus2 jugak.. aku sungguh tak paham tm net nih ..

guys ps3 can directly connect to power outlet/socket on the wall aa?no need to use adapter like ps2?

worry if the power too much nanti ps3 burn sweat.gif

It most certainly can la bor for all you port forward need...go here

Choose you router from there and then choose your application afterwards...it then will show you how to do it complete with screenshots...BTW I'm using the same modem as kabuto rider.

Yours is an Asian set right? Region 3? if that's the case then no prob...just plug it straight to the wall...no adapter needed.

And I heard that PS3 from other region don't need adapter as well but I can't confirm as I don't have them. but a few forumers have a japan unit and I believe one of us here have a US set.
