bad news, seems like no PES demo this week

i wonder how about those other demos like timeshift or fatal inertia? ps3 60GB more suitable for hoarding demos than the 360 20GB.

guys anybody here own 80gb PS3?what's the difference anyway?

the big2 massive different is 20gb, 60gb and 80gb...

guys im planning getting ps3 this week,but which one should i go with?

the 80gb one is somewhat "degraded" PS3,right?but with 20gb more space,while the 60gb ps3 got better hardware with emotion engine,pening kepala already

i worry the 80gb will be like the slim ps2 which is inferior

It's not like you want to play all PS2 games on the PS3. Check the compatibility list here -> http://faq.eu.playstation.com/bc/

The software emulation for PS2 games keeps getting better over time. I believe Sony will disable EE through the future firmware updates in favour of software emulation (to close the PS2 hardware exploit/hack). At that point, PS3s with EE have no significant advantage over non-EE version.

^if 60gb is cheaper, buy the 60gb version. if price is the same, get the 80gb version.

the 80gb also said to use a "cheaper" stuff to reduce production costs,right?and the Cell microprocessors will be smaller than the one in 60gb,my main concern is the 80gb will turns out to be like the slimmer ps2,easily overheating/broken

^ actually a few 60GB PS3 around here already experienced dead laser syndrome and unable to recognize discs. sony continue to refine and improve their design and manufacturing. u may end up with a more reliable 80Gb model than most of us.
