The angkasa condos are very crampy, esp the twinsharing. Quote" You can do Yoga but cannot dance in the room".
Its so bad that one of you may have to put your study table in the hall.
Dont go for the single room -smack right between two bathrooms cum toilet.

QUOTE(zstan @ Jul 29 2010, 05:28 PM) should be Dr.Bong. well he's more of an academic compared to Dato Peter who's a businessman. i am quite positive he will try to improve to academic standards at ucsi. A good choice really to separate business development and academic excellence. Wish them well.

QUOTE(patricktiew @ Oct 24 2010, 11:59 PM) Well, in every semester(almost), there will be at least one lecturer will leave the faculty and go to other university or college. So sad to know when those good lecturer leave the university and left those inexperience lecturer to ruin the subjects. some of them told us that there always have better place to go rather than stay in ucsi. This is staff mobility and you can never stop this. It happens everywhere! Not everybody goes for material gain, some do it as a passion and such ppl are few. Depends on your luck!

Most of the Chinese students speak Mandarin, I think in most universities including IPTAs. Not many have a good command of English and it is to be expected that the English proficiency will drop further unless more drastic changes takes place.

Potential medic students hoping to get into UCSI for this year and have not submitted their applications will most likely miss the boat this year.
Last year was a completely different scenario. They hardly managed to fill up half of their quota of 90 students. This year becoz of the foundation students and JPA scholars, competition will surely be tougher.

A little bit of tweaking to the MBBS course structure can do wonders to the enrolment!
