Any April A-level students here? tongue.gif Let's be friends! biggrin.gif

Still haven't get confirmation from UCSI. But for April intake, will our classes be the same as the people from March intake? And April intake's exam schedule is the same as July intake's, right? That's what Mr. Chooong Wai Seng told me, I need to double triple check regarding this matter.

hmm didnt know they have 2 intakes now..if that's the case then classes will be different..
*
I see... wonder if that's a good thing.. but so many intakes in a year.. i thought A-level exams are only twice a year or something? Or is that CIE and not Edexcel? What do you think of this uni btw? I know you're not from there, but I think you should know a thing or two about this uni to comment about it.

Pls forgive me, may I know what is FIS stands for?
*
hi, can you please answer this question for me? When I registered the other day, the counselor whose name I shall not reveal ended up asking many of his colleagues and still didn't get me an answer.

I'm entering A-levels this April, since the government has extended the 1MBV/BB1M RM 200 book voucher, do we April students get the voucher too? Your reply to this is much appreciated. smile.gif

casio fx 570 is sufficient. some use fx991. yeap, lab coat is needed.
*
FX 570 is sufficient? There are a few variants for FX 570... ES, MS, etc. most SPM leavers have this one:

this is enough, right? biggrin.gif If yes then that's a good thing biggrin.gif

How much does the lab coat cost? We have to buy right? How often do we enter the labs anyway?

hey guys, why none of u guys go complain against the computer facility of the computer lab (the Open Area computer)...

Most of the computer at the "Open Area" are spoiled, slow, cannot switch on, missing keyboard, mouse, etc... mad.gif

The computer there are very very ancient already, but UCSI dun want to change them... vmad.gif  mad.gif  vmad.gif  mad.gif

U guys didn't realize? doh.gif

*
I'm entering A-levels this coming Monday, when I first visited the library 3 weeks ago on a Sunday the first thing I realised was the semi-ancient computers. Checked around for the student council's site and stuff.. they're a pretty damn inactive bunch, huh?

UCSI ! pls do something on it !!! mad.gif  vmad.gif

*
Honestly I wouldn't count on them to replace the computers anytime soon if I were you laugh.gif . Why don't you e-mail the UCSI's head or something? I'm sure you have his (or his staff)'s e-mail address for feedbacks.

oh man, u dun forget we (every students) gotta pay money (library & computer facility fee) for EVERY SEMESTER!!! vmad.gif  mad.gif

We (every students) should deserve what we had paid !!! vmad.gif  mad.gif

And then one more issue is about water dispenser!!! Don't u guys feel UCSI Block C is seriously lacking of water dispenser? So far there is only one (1) water dispenser in Block C (at 2nd floor there)... doh.gif  doh.gif

*
I know, having to pay computer fees every semester but to use crappy computers is pretty disappointing. I'm technically not a student yet until next week. Why don't you send a formal letter of complaint? They can't ignore complaints forever. btw I'm sure the head of UCSI will be reading this post of mine sooner of later.. laugh.gif

hi, i m a spm leaver. i plan 2 take medicine course after this. now is better for me to take alevel or foundation in science?
*
A-levels, definitely A-levels if you want to do well during your medical degree. As A-levels prepare you way better than normal foundation courses for medical degree (actually it prepares you better for most undergrad studies compared to taking foundation courses laugh.gif )
