i did the same survey myself 6 yrs ago and still don't believe in RO water...

I'm using BS series and an external hot/room/cold dispenser. Now thats about rm1500+rm2900.
They have a Watero UF with 5 stage filter for rm1120.

Same shit different smell I guess. Just go with the with one with prettier service lady. At least u get some eye candy.

You won't magically live to 99 years old drinking water from either brand. At long as it goes through some sort of filtration and cooling+heating function for convenience sake.

Anyone bought any water tester to test the quality of your water?

Don't buy all these so-called water filter, they are scams and expensive. The bacteria will accumulate at the filter.

It's best to buy bottled water in larger 20L container and then pour into water tank every month.

Interesting. I ask so many how they treat the water quality. All of them say they only can test the water pH. Looks like they don't have a device to test the water quality. With this test, customer can see the difference before and after install water purifier. It's not cheap

Filter already, bacteria go back upstream? Filters got limited capacity. Just like aircond dust filter, if filter full already then some dust sure break through. Which is why filters must changed/wash regularly.

i think bacteria is unavoidable unless u sterilize it. Should no harm to body? I still dillema duno coway or cuckoo better. But cuck is cheaper.

Boil your water

They come check doesn't mean they will change your filters. That might be every 6 months.

For the most part these things are overpriced gimmicks. You can purchase filters for much cheaper price.

Bacteria stay at the filter because water comes from the dirty pipes. It's only good for washing hands, dishes and shower.
That's why water filter is a waste of money unless you change it every few days.

For drinking, it's better to buy bottled water that is sealed that we can drink for at least 1 week per 20L bottle.

In Thailand, a 19 liter bottle only cost 20 baht (around 2.50 ringgit). That's why nobody use water filters in Thailand.

After some long research, I am quite interested on LG Puricare WD210AN. You using LG? Any share experience?

Very good experience so far. They will come service every 3 months, and all pipes will be replaced at least once every year. The only downside is if you need to drink a lot of hot water very quickly (like within 5 minutes you want more than about 1.5L) it’ll run out of hot water and it needs a while to reboil, but overall I’m very happy with the instant hot/cold water feature. Tankless so small footprint and looks modern.

Paid upfront, forgot how much already but it's definitely more worth it than renting each month.

I thought about it and asked the agent if they have run water test before but answer is no. For now I'll keep this since the water doesn't taste off. If it's good enough for South Koreans it's good enough for me.

korea tap water is crystal clear and drinkable... mana mana pun clean water.

LG got list their filter in nsf, but only for their refrigerator water filters.

we have other issues such as metal, chemical, antibiotic pollution into river and we drinking it.

After more research, I think I changed my mind from cuckoo (Exel model) to consider LG Puricare (model WD210AN), https://lgpuricare.store/promotion/

Reason: tankless and UV (auto every 1 hour or manual 5 min if needed)

I purposely choose this model which doesn't have cold water because we don't drink cold water.

I wish that they add Panasonic's feature whereby each filter has an indicator when to change the filter. This way we only replace the filter when needed (optimize the cost).

RM78 a month. lockdown 3 years. Total amount : RM 2808.

I try to use this TDS device to test the TDS quality of the water. Surprising result. Tap water is 50. My cosway cheap water filter is 53. LG water purifier is 65. Not sure why. I will test it more with RO water and mineral water

Been using nuskin ecopshere water filter for years. Also need to connect electric to kill bacteria one. I never boil just straight drink fr tap. So far so good

I tested with ro water (result is 9) and mineral water (result is 86)

of course la bro, mineral water got a lot of minerals inside hence it show 86.

Install this for my rental house, ask tenant to change the filter every 4-6 months
