Recently, I NexG Prepaid Master Card (AmBank) and my account has been approved and activated. However the pin is still not generated. They said I have to wait around 3-4 weeks after my account activation.

Can I use the card now? Can I verify my paypal account? Do I have to wait until my pin number is generated?

u can use the card but cannot verify the account till u get the pin.

yup...u can still using it,i'm using it too,unverified but still can shop at ebay.but after u receive ur card statement,dont forget to keyin the paypal no at the statement,to verify ur account.

lastime, my ic number was wrong........i cannot registered too but now can ....try col them...

anybody ambank user here can explain how to register new account (i mean ambank account).. what document will be needed? should i make any appointment first like maybank? how much the minimum money to open the new account?

Just standard document ler, no need make appointment one, go to customer service, say u want open an account, get a photostate of your ic.. that's all i guess, for minimum, not so sure, but u can always prepare RM250, just in case rite? IF you need the money, you could always withdraw it tomoro.. Lolz..

they need any kind of bill that contain a valid address..
they dont even put the information on the website...
what a waste of time... haihhh...

i hv activated the online banking account.. what thing to do next?

i tried to verify my CC on paypal, but this msg appeared:

This credit card has been denied by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was denied, please contact your credit card issuer's customer service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card.

I had that problem too...
You need to top-up 1st before you add the card in paypal

how much the minimum amount i need to topup?

at least rm 5 if u deposit using cash deposit machine, while rm 100 if u deposit at bank counters

still got problem..

there is rm10 balance in my nexg...

no need Ambank account lah.. but I created 1 to make me easier to transfer money to NexG when i need it..

eh anybody PB Visa Electron user here? can explain how to register 1, and their advantages. how long it takes to make everything works?

It's prepaid... you just have to sign-up the form and send back to AmBank for verification and after 2 - 3 weeks of working days. You can fully use your card.
Get it from 7-11 store or any AmBank branches...
