Hi everyone. This is my first posting here. I do need some help on finding the replacement parts.

Currently, I am using Alienware X51 R2, for quite a long time. As there was some problem with my pc, I have checked that my heat sink support has cracked. I am currently finding the replacement parts for this item. Does anyone faced this issue and can anyone help me recommend the proper replacement?

Had been using this PC for quite a long time, as I currently using it for normal daily task and some simulation & drawing, I am trying my best not to upgrade.

Hope for good news

Thank you

I think it's generic part Dell also used in their typical optiplex, if you dig around you might find some decommissioned optiplex and see if you can harvest them for cheap.

Alternatively, perhaps you can try and see if it's possible to mount Intel's stock cooler onto it, they generally go for dirt cheap price of under RM30 shipped.

From here the mounting hole seems to be compatible with other Intel's cooler (I know it's not the exact same model, but I'm just talking bout the cooler and mounting hole).

You just need to make sure the clearance is sufficient.

EDIT: Just saw a post bout 3rd party cooler on X51, it's definitely possible to do so, but the original backplate needed to be removed and likely it will be hard to do so.
