Why mizu? My take after research a bit
1. Cheap (rm70 for 4L fully) and good for normal everyday cars for normal usage with occasional spirited driving. Not for track / racing.
2. Slightly below average flash point at 210 but good enough (the point where your engine oil terbakar). Possibly using slightly lower quality base oil thats why cheaper? Not sure, mizu representative pls reply me if possible. Not a concern as our engine oil usually at temp 95-110 during normal operating temperature. Spirited drive will be higher (usually below 130) but engine will go to limp mode once 140 depending on car model. As a comparison kendall fully is around 230 and shell ultra is at 270.
3. Above average tbn number at 8. Once tbn used up, your engine oil will become acidic and no longer protect your engine, corrosive to engine parts. Important for those everyday short drive to work/masjid/always traffic jam.
4. Legit api certificate, somemore is the latest GF-6A certification (better!). Certified oil for their fully and semi synthetic oils.
TLDR
I recommend MIZU fully and semi synthetic for daily use, normal use cars. For track/racing, take something better. Currently i'm testing kendall fully 5w30.
