Expected liao. Especially with the sheer number of cars affected, workshops can afford to pick and choose. You tak suka you boleh cuci sendiri.

QUOTE(kapalterbang_737 @ Dec 24 2021, 10:13 PM) My client renewed all 3 of her car with me every year for the past 5 years Typical tidak apa attitude. I don't bother covering windscreen but I always buy special perils coverage. I can afford to replace windscreen but I don't want to risk having to pay RM20k to repair a flooded car.Everytime i send quotation i will include Flood Cover as well, but she always proceed with basic cover+windscreen cover only All 3 cars fully submerged last weekend.. dunno how she gonna deal with it.. |

Fomca has called for insurance companies to aid car owners with no flood coverage. As it is, insurance companies will be coughing lots of money to compensate those who bought flood coverage.

QUOTE(blanket84 @ Dec 24 2021, 11:43 PM) That would be unfair too. The best is to start implementing merit system. More discount for careful driver, more loading for reckless driver. That's where NCD and telemetics come in. What I mean by premium increasing for everyone is like what happened to medical insurance - those who don't claim pun face a rise in premium. |

QUOTE(blanket84 @ Dec 24 2021, 11:55 PM) I understand what you mean. Hence my response instead of increasing the premium across the board to recover the losses, they should consider punishing people who “cause” the premium to be high at the first place, which are the reckless drivers. Maybe NCB system isn't doing its job. I still hear people saying "aiya, got insurance why don't claim?". |
