BLM with 1.3L is good enough for its power to weight ratio. consider 1.2L savvy is not underpowered.

anyway, did you guys know what saga really means?

from the management perspective, it means:
A historical narrative describing the unique accomplishments of a group and its leader.
maybe TS can put this on the 1st page.

If any engineer out there dun mind helping just a little, actually how does this VIM work? is it supposed to be like variable valve timing? i really hate it when car companies come up with fancy names and abbreviations that don't mean anything to us ordinary ppl, and they don't bother to explain...
*

In addition to the basic DOHC engine, Proton developed its own variable valve timing technology that works similar with other variable valve technologies such as Honda VTEC and Toyota VVTi, named as CPS (Cam Profile Switching) technology. The usage of CPS tehnology will raise the maximum power up to about 127 bhp and will improve the low-end torque to its maximum value which will maintain until about 5,000 rpm.[1] The technology is said to be applied to newer Gen-2s and future models starting from the end of 2005, but both technologies will only be debuted in the facelifted 2008 Proton Gen-2[2][3].

The Intake Air Fuel Module for the Proton Campro engine is now ready, and is only awaiting Proton's green light to begin production. This new IAFM is a basically a variable geometry intake system, developed under a joint fast track programme which began in April 2005 by EPMB, Bosch and Proton.

We first heard of it back in October 2006 where it was still in advanced tooling stages, and ever since then everyone has been eagerly awaiting for the first Campros to roll out with the new air fuel module. The IAFM varies intake manifold length to suit different engine conditions - a short runner length for high revs and a long and narrower runner length for low revs.

If designed properly, this can enhance an engine's torque curve and also help improve the combustion process, making the engine more fuel efficient. This is much-needed with the current Campro engine, which has rather relatively low torque at low to medium engine speeds. The IAFM can be fitted to both Campro 1.3 liter and 1.6 liter engines. The new intake manifold is made of reinforced high thermal plastic which is lighter than the current Campro's aluminium intake manifold

Those who booked the car need to wait 2 months to get the car.......
This is Bolehland.......
*

its normal for you to wait for a new to roll out from the factory.. even you have to wait a long q for toyota camry, the new nissan grand livina etc. unless no one is buying or interested/demand with that car so there will be no waiting list.

There is something not necessary bout the dashboard is the compartment at the passenger side. R u going to leave ur gf handbag or handfone there so when the car stops at the traffic lights motors can easily see u placing ur valuables there? They should install another airbag there for better safety of the passenger

this is for the upcoming High Line version of Saga, with two airbags and extra goodies.

buy proton is like tht la...u gamble ma...lucky u get cars wif out any faulty part syok lor...u unlucky..u spend a lot of time at SC, Feeling cheated and frustrated. All boils down to QC.

Now come to think of it....it's worth paying more for a MyVi, at least u know u would not get a lemon. My mum has a myvi, 2 years..no problem at all..nvr need to repair anything, not even absorbers.I have a few frens who drive myvi...no complain..nvr claim warranty also, plus it's more fuel economical and u know the design is good bcos the amount of money and resource perodua's parent daihatsu/Toyota has for R&D is bigger thn protons n thy definitely can afford to spend on R&D since myvi's platform and engine is also used in Daihatsu sirion/boom and also toyota passo thy have economic of scale. [b]Since daihatsu sirion and toyota passo are sold in Europe, thy hv to meet certain safety standards.U can be sure myvi will not be a milo tin wif wheels.[cool.gif

i lulz at that statement...
since daihatsu and toyota are sold in europe.. did u know proton also sold in europe? and some china automakers too?
