I wonder what's the optimum temperature for the 8800GTX. according to the dual core center, the temperature at idle is around 65 degrees. Recently, I've been playing games like Medal of Honor Airborne, the temperature during gameplay increases up to 78 degrees.

Is it rather high at 78? what is the optimum temperature or the max it can go before it burns off

but under wat circumstances cud a gc reach >100 degrees?
