Hi guys, I am looking to get a 2nd hand 5G phone that supports DNB 5G network for temporary use before my iPhone can get 5G. Any recommendations for 2nd hand phone RM700 and below except Huawei since no Google I am looking at Oppo Find X2 Lite which is being sold around RM690 on Carousell but I am not sure whether this phone supports 5G Thank You |

I bought Honor X8 5G for RM999 to play with 5G since my iPhone 13 Pro Max still not having 5G, not at least until CDMU on board anyway.
I am impressed now that DNB really working hard for the coverage, from Ampang to Putra Perdana to Cyberjaya all the way 5G. Previously when I was using S21 Ultra, Ampang no 5G then on highway certain area got 5G, Putra Perdana no 5G then enter Cyberjaya got 5G This post has been edited by sharpman: Oct 25 2022, 09:22 PM |

QUOTE(unknown_2 @ Oct 26 2022, 04:27 PM) ask him do some testing, see is real 5G or fake ass 5G. tried downloading Google Drive files, 20 minutes of Netflix 4K, 5 minutes of YouTube 4K, while hotspotting to his laptop.yes 5G, a lot of the time, impressive when speedtest using local servers only. try other servers like US or europe, get 4G speed. All good |

QUOTE(aniq8676 @ Nov 3 2022, 12:12 AM) If the government changes, Let's say if that approved then it will take many more months and months for maxis to erect 5G towers everywhere. will be worse than Jan 2023then it is possible that they will take the opportunity to ask the ministry of communications under the new government to give an exception to the telco not to use DNB, instead use their own 5G |

QUOTE(azhar75 @ Nov 3 2022, 08:04 AM) They r waiting for other telco's pricing strategy... once all telcos 5G pricing is revealed to the public, then only they will consider to join DNB or not... becoz if the pricing from competitors generate little profit in Maxis's calculations, Maxis won't "consider" DNB... no point joining DNB when they are paying the license for many² years and at the same time not making profit for many years too... Like it or not, Maxis have to join DNB. Do you think Maxis is happy to only offer 4G+ to the users?» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Lots of things will happen within 10 years...if the contract has a clause that mention certain items will be reviewed every 2 years, then, it's a viable choice. No one sees the contract physically... Besides, next 2 years is recession... majority of Malaysian won't spend on luxurious items and saving cash for food, rental, paying installments, etc. |
