In the meantime, just enjoy the Free 5G from Yes :-)
*
The problem with YTL / Yes is they are not Apple partner so Malaysia iPhone set won't be getting 5G soon. That is why we want the 4 big telcos to join onboard

Any 5G in Sarawak? Are all Sarawakian cellular infra owned by Sacofa?
*
Not yet, but DNB is responsible for Sabah and Sarawak as well

Maxis has been awfully quiet....

At least U Mobile has made a statement assuring that they will have 5G without a stake in DNB

DTAC uses n28 with DSS due to limited spectrum. Use AIS (n41 100MHz) or TrueMove (n41 90MHz) to experience real mid band 5G speed. AIS tend to use more AAU than TrueMove so its speed should be the fastest in Thailand
*
yeap, when I was in Hatyai 1 month ago, I purchased AIS simcard and buy quota for 5G, I got 920 Mbps on Fast.com at Lee Garden area

Device: iPhone 13 Pro Max

in the website states the speed up to 120mbps, but the reality can be more than that. (Depends on the area)

My neighbor just subscribed the Yes 5G Home Wireless and I tested can only get 120 Mbps max. If using phone can get 800 Mbps.

The video you attach I guess it is unlocked at Yes Center

"Although Yes 5G is capable of providing download speeds exceeding 1Gbps for its mobile plans, the wireless broadband offering appears to be speed-capped at 120Mbps on a best-effort basis."

I know, I was challenging aniq8676 statement that the speed is not being limited to 120 Mbps

when is DNB gonna add support for apple devices  dry.gif
*
It is not DNB who certifies whatever device. The issue is currently because only Yes 5G on board the DNB network.

Yes meanwhile is not Apple partner. So we must wait CDMU (Celcom, Digi, Maxis, U Mobile) to be onboard the DNB 5G network and pretty soon we will have 5G on iPhones
