what does the negative review mentions? quite interested to know

low quality bass. just poorly controlled boom-boom.

this is my first sub so i dont have an idea about how a good sub sounds like
but yeah its the cheapest 8 inch in the market so can't complain much too 😂

Received last week on 18th December 2021.
So far no issues. I only set on 20-50%.
Edifier recommends to set between 50%-70%.
Just that have to be careful when touching metal parts.
Can get a shock when touching the screws or metal things.
Had to move the subwoofer in front a bit so that I don't accidentally touch the metal parts.

Cannot set too high cause afraid will disturb the neighbours.
I set around 20% to 50% like that. Will try another movies one day. Now resting due to booster side effects.

Good thing is that when subwoofer is switched off the speakers still works although when source is connected to T5 then T5 to S3000 Pro. Easier for me to choose 2.0 or 2.1 without having to unplug and plug the RCA cables.

Gonna buy Bluetooth receiver to RCA ports to play via Bluetooth for subwoofer together with speakers as only RCA cable can be used together with subwoofer. Others input only speakers without subwoofer.

What? Electric shock? That shouldn't happen.

Ya. I asked Edifier.
They said it's normal when touching metal parts because there is current pass through.
Like not recommended to touch behind especially metal.
Even I PM TS on this thread also experienced shock when touching the metal parts.

Actually you feel something tingle on your fingertips when touching behind.
Will try to touch again once I bought the stand.
It's either if connecting subwoofer will experience.
Gonna try another day.

When I setup first time. Try touching behind and I don't feel anything behind. If like touching the knob is safe to touch. Like the volume dial, bass and treble dial.

It's either socket or cable thing.
Now temporary I put on the floor until edifier restock s3000 pro stand. If not I will buy 3rd party stand to pair together.

I tried to adjust the bass or treble dial.
Accidentally touch the screw, can feel tingle.
Make me move my hand away quickly.

Use 2-to-4 RCA cable? speakers can still work with or without subwoofer turned on.

I use 2RCA to 2RCA cable connection
The one included in the box.
I placed order for new 2RCA to 2RCA cable from vention.
Cause we are using wall TV cabinet. Cable not long enough.
Using default 2RCA to 2RCA cable cannot close the cabinet cover.

I connect from TV audio out 2RCA to T5 Signal In.
Then from T5 RCA Signal out to S3000 Pro.

I try switching off T5 Subwoofer halfway while playing music.
The S3000 Pro speakers still even works without power on subwoofer even connect to subwoofer as pass through.

Source --> T5 Signal In
T5 Signal Out --> S3000 Pro

Easier for me to choose 2.0 or 2.1 setup without having to unplug the RCA cable. If let's say I plan to music not EDM music then I switch off subwoofer or else I switch on subwoofer for boom boom songs.

Only that Bluetooth mode and other mode besides RCA input can play sounds through speakers only.
Gonna buy UGREEN RCA Bluetooth Receiver to connect to the subwoofer together.

Gonna survey on this as well.
So far my setup still works. Will try this.
This way I can connect another speaker to it.

If use this way then cannot play with Bluetooth if wanna use subwoofer. Will search for more cables like this one..

Are you using cables for your S3000 Pro and A300 Pro setup?

Yes. As Bluetooth from the speaker itself not from the subwoofer.

If want to use subwoofer together with music through Bluetooth. Need to buy Bluetooth RCA receiver like this below.


Subwoofer is optional to add together if want to feel like realistic sound while watching movies.
For airpulse series got sub out so any type of input can be used with the subwoofer.

The S3000 Pro only have RCA input only. Doesn't have output sound to another speakers or subwoofer.
Means that from speakers to T5 using RCA Input on the speakers and Signal Out on the subwoofer.
Meaning that only RCA input from TV as subwoofer can be used together with the speakers

Hope this answers the question.

bro, few more question. under the setting u mentioned (without this Ugreen BT RCA),
when SW is on, can use S3000 remote control?
when SW is off, can use S3000 remote control?
When SW is off and the source from TV (watching movie), the speaker has no sound?

When T5 Subwoofer is switched off and on won't affect the S3000 Pro remote. Will work even both either off or on.
Cause S3000 Pro only controls the S3000 Pro settings.
Behind the speakers got bass and treble dial. If put on the stands still can change. I set both treble and bass as 0.
Will change after I got the stands. Temporary put on the floor.

For the 3rd question. If subwoofer is switched off when connect to TV as source. Speakers will have sound as well.
Something like pass through. I got surprised when I tried switch off the subwoofer halfway playing music. The speakers still works. It is easier for me to choose either 2.0 or 2.1 setup without having to unplug and replug the cables.
Just that more extra cables.

Just that T5 Subwoofer need to adjust the volume and LPF behind the T5. Set the preferred ones. But have to really set the right choice cause T5 mainly put on the floor. It will be troublesome if want to change each time that you have to move the subwoofer to the side.

I set mine both 50% line pointing towards up.
For some reasons that I need to set TV volume to 0% even though I connect the RCA cable. As the TV will play from the TV speakers even connected to T5 Subwoofer and S3000 Pro speakers.
