I saw an article.. (can’t find it though). Apple brilliant pricing strategy. Same like iPhone X it breached the Usd1k. At the same time offer iPhone 8 like it’s the normal offering. iPhone X being extraordinary.

Maybe that’s why the rumour of iPhone 14 certain model use old Cpu chipset and the higher end model the latest and greatest (along with price).

That would mean 14 isn’t a good year to get iPhone. That’s my opinion.

13 camera tested so far is the wide angle lens. Unless you are pixel peeping, indistinguishable.

Really? For me 12PM to 13PM, battery life was the main thing to me. Can notice 2-3 hours more battery life which sounds not much, but real world usage, it is. Yes, USB C is a game changer (although it is years since Android has it).

XS Max to 12PM - can't take the bad battery life and crappy intel cellular chipset.
12PM to 13PM - battery life (and family member swapping 12PM).

My prediction? 16 series to have usb C, no notch or need for dynamic island, maybe iphone 15 for periscope camera.

From experience, it could be your 3D type mask (KF95?), then u need to adapt to what angle u look at the screen.

Another way, redo the whole FaceID detection (including alternate appearance), make sure when you do this, it’s in a brightly lit environment.

Strange. I hear trouble with 3D mask rather than normal. I did this, u can try whether works. Wear normal mask, do scan. Then alternate use 3D mask. To unlock, 3D mask, u have to find angle of the phone. It’s never about how far or near for me, rather the angle.

It's good la... life changing, a bit over the top though. But if you never own an earphone around this price range, can understand.


So far i been charging iPhone via MagSafe. Looks like doesn't damage the phone battery. I was careful, make sure it's doesn't heat up.

Ordered Anker Magsafe 633, it comes with Magsafe and wired charging. The worst case, Magsafe isn't safe, go back to wired charging.

Anyone has other experiences with Magsafe charging?

Difficult to provide advice.. I guess everyone got their own view. Here’s mine.

1) battery replacement is rm380 (let’s round up to rm400 for time, effort, parking etc). Unless your used set battery is very good condition.

2) with difference of rm800 (rm400 for battery replacement). I would rather bite the bullet to get latest specs, latest model and new unit.

3) longevity, if you intent to use until it’s end of life, getting new model would likely extend another 1 year life based on iOS eligibility.

I would say don’t be penny wise, pound foolish.

Hmmm.. if you intend to upgrade iPhone 15. U need to start selling before the September announcement.

How much it drops? I can’t say I keep track.. but easily 1-2k. You can take a look at compasia prices. Most places u do trade in is actually with compasia unless you sell it on carousel, lowyat garage etc.

If you got someone to hand down the phone, that would be most ideal.

If you take up telco contract, got lock in period. Maxis Zerolution I think more flexible but do check properly. You don’t see it’s written black and white, don’t believe Maxis.

If you saying nothing covering it or dirt on lens, then it's pro max camera system. Google search you will see people mentioning at night, lens flare for newer iPhone is very obvious.

Not sure, but likely if under different shooting conditions is fine.
