Hi all,

Just want to ask, for switch oled, or regular v1/v2/lite switch in general, is the heating going to be an issue in long term after extended hours of playing handheld mode? I noticed it became a bit warm.

If so, do we have third party fan? Maybe in docked mode?

TIA

Never encounter any heat-related issue with my launched unit or the latest OLED version. I play a very long session during week end or at the car service center. I even bring along an extended battery to extend my play time. Some time even plug directly into the wall socket.

Thanks for your reply. Do you use protective casing as well? Does it exacerbate the issue? I know the exhaust is on top but just worried. I'm using the SUPcase series and it does have holes for the vent.

I do have a tough case just to store the unit that all. I am running the unit bare during playtime.

I owned an oled for about a month plus now, hardly notice it heats up on long handheld sessions, i only use the skull & co grip case.

If dock mode, slight heat for both my previous V2 and oled after taking it off from the dock

Just got my OLED unit and played some SMT V which is considered as quite a demanding game. Played handheld mode with no case, and noticed some heat but not super hot or anything.
