somehow i couldn't find good thread about maxis fiber.

currenly i am paying RM404 for Maxis postpaid (with 4 share lines) and RM265 for Unifi 800Mbps package.

both are out of contract recently.

now thinking to

1) get Maxis family plan 300Mbps with 4 postpaid lines (unlimited) for RM359 (saving almost 50%)
or
2) Maintain unifi and find cheaper mobile provider ..
3) get Maxis family plan 800Mbps and get oay RM1 monthly for PS5


for 300Mbps maxis fiber,
1) will they provide public IP?
2) apart from poor support (since they need to rely to TM), anything else that i should consider?

i have no issue with Unifi .. only one time down (due to fiber cut) but the idea of reducing monthly commitment and getting some goodies is very interesting.
i already called TM to ask for special package but nothing special.

Unsure what the current prices are but I'm paying:

1. RM159 UniFi 800Mbps, 60 mins free call, PlayTV Ultimate, Lionsgate Play, iQiyi & BBC Player.
2. RM28 x 4 = RM112 for 4 lines of DiGi Prepaid BigBonus 28, unlimited calls, 13GB+ data each a month, no SMS.
(the + is for 1GB/day from 1-7pm and 2.5GB/week for videos & music)

Have always been on Unifi. Switch from Maxis OnePlan 188 to Digi about 4/5 years.

1. If you wish to stay on Unifi, try to check Unifi thread for some interesting current promo.
2. If you don't need unlimited data for phone line, can change the postpaid plan to whatever cheaper plan in the market that suits your need.

Yes upon request. Just tell them you need it for CCTV.

Nothing much since they are using TM infra. As long as nothing happen to your cable or BTU or outside FDP, it is just as good as Unifi.

Those are old plan and I am sure he cannot get any of these anymore.

Doubtful others can get the rm159 800mbps old skool customer package though

i think i am more towards maxis family plan 300Mbps ... a lot of saving there for me ..:

for postpaid .. ive been using maxis and really comfortable with it ...
maybe i just switch my share line to other cheaper provider ..

so sad RM159 UniFi 800Mbps i unable to get cheaper due tm wont offer me they give me RM239 mesh wifi i hate it i don't need mesh wifi
they wont give offer me RM179 or RM189

Don't be so sad lah bro. RM239 is still much cheaper than normal price, and even cheaper than Maxis 800mbps.

Haha, you can keep dreaming to get 800mbps for RM159 or 189. It will not happen to newer subscribers.

For broadband, some maxis agent posted in fb stated 300mbps RM129 for first 2 years and after back to RM149. You can get transfer service ID from there and bring to TM Point to get special offer 300mbps RM129 with 2 years contract & price remain same after 2 years.
