well, Klopp has also said Sacchi is an influence... for many of these guys they have become bigger than their influence.

“That’s just one game and then the rest is coming up,” he said with a wry laugh. “For the moment, it’s better than it was two weeks ago. Definitely.”

“When our midfielders are fit that’s an incredible choice of players and Thiago has a very specific skillset and it’s very helpful when he is on the pitch and has rhythm,” Klopp explained.

“That’s the challenge we face, give him rhythm but not overdo it and that’s with all the players pretty much, especially with all the games coming up.

“That’s why we took them off again [vs. Porto], not give the chance to get too tired in a game where the injuries might then happen.

“We have a similar thing to do with Ox after a long period he now played a lot of games, we have to think about the same stuff. Others then come back from injury.

“Fabinho, for example, came back from Brazil with a really bad stomach so played the full game [vs. Arsenal] but then thought we should not stress it and left him out [vs. Porto] – played only 25 minutes.

“Hendo and Robbo came back injured from the national team so that’s how you have to get through these games.

“The Wednesday-Saturday is always a time where we have to really think about how can we change.

“Saturday-Wednesday is completely different, it’s a day more, that’s what you need. But Wednesday-Saturday after all the games we’ve played we need to really think about.”

“Usually, we don’t talk about things that aren’t confirmed yet. I might believe you you tell me they’re to happen,” Klopp told reporters.

The two have history dating back to the early 2000s and Klopp still feels he is owed something dating back to their respective promotion pushes.

“Between coaches highly regarded, where he was he did incredible jobs. It started early as a very, very young at Stuttgart coaching the second team,” Klopp added.

“I’m pretty sure we went and brought them to the Bundelsliga, which was absolutely insane that time and then made his way up from there.

“We faced each other the first time when I was a very young coach when he was at Hanover, he might have forgotten that.

“They always played our opponent a week later so he called me the young manager of Mainz and asked plenty of questions and I was happy Ralf Rangnick was calling me but with all the information they needed, they got promoted and we didn’t.

“So he owes me still something!

“In the football world in Germany he is very, very well regarded, and rightly so.”

"He's pushing but I don't see it as pushing in that sense," Klopp told reporters when asked about Tsimikas. "Robbo is Robbo and Robbo, it's a bit strange that people constantly forget how good Robbo is in these moments just because Kostas is good as well.

"Thank god he is good as well, imagine that, we'd have a proper problem there. It's much better than it was before when we had no real solution and Milly had to play there, which he did exceptionally well.

"Now we have different solutions, it's good. We have Kostas as well and we have Owen Beck coming up, a real prospect, so that's good for us.

"But I don't doubt Robbo at all. You saw Robbo coming on, when he came on last game he didn't play that game because if he plays the game after his little injury, there was no chance to play next one so we shared the intensity between the two of them.

"I'm really happy about the development of Kostas, really happy. But Robbo is Robbo. He's an outstanding player. I don't know if he had drops here and there in performance, it doesn't change my mind because you cannot trust people today and not trust them the next day.

"You have to show these kind of things and then you get the long-term best out of players. That's why I don't have a difficult decision to make.

"I'm really happy that Kostas shows up like he shows up. He's an oustanding player. Robbo needed half a year, Kostas needed around about a year. That's how it is but now we see how good he really is and that's really good news for us."

Many wasted pass, especially those that can lead to clear cut chances which we could have score more. But looking at how many time ali saved us in the first half, i would say 3-0 is fair.

Thiago, as much as I like him, seems to be just a tad too slow for the EPL. If given time he can run the show but with opposition players constantly breathing down his neck, he's quite prone to errors.
We need to keep possession better in the 2nd half. Don't let them have a sniff early, that's important. If it gets back to 3-1 it's game on again.
