TBH , IWC even use modified movement based ETA in some their Portugieser flagship. the 5 digit 8X961 something la ..lazy to google their page.

Take Ball for example , it is not under Swatch Group.
But most of their watch movement based from ETA.
u go watchbase and check
even cartier also the same not under swatch group.

But ya, buy Omega 2nd hand if can get. Berbaloi baloi.

But actually buy what u like la. Its already a waste of money to begin with.

Like I said, ETA lansi lio all stop selling, the brands are slowly modifying it to be in-house, or source from others d.

They can still use whatever they have but they not getting new stock.
