Very unlikely that his company/agency would expel the hand that stirs the drink...go Penang and you can see all his for sale/rent banners everywhere plastered with his face. He has a huge one at Penang times Square that you can see from miles away...

First property so no other comparisons, but felt so-so, nothing special. The bare minimum to close the deal then immediately asked for 1% commission since it was a subsale.

Bro, some properties/land deals worth millions. Example, my uncle just let go of his oil palm farm which worth 35 mil, imagine the agent getting 2% from there? If by just getting cucuk for few hours can get few hundred Ks, a lot are willing to do it also.
