What rosak? Need to refoam or driver coil burnt? Share picture and details.
Also what Tannoy? If one of those big ones with 10" and above driver then sure worth it to repair. If budget Tannoy then need to see whether worth the cost or not.

Have been a few times to octave electronics, they did great job on my equipments with very affordable price. Their place is very messy with all sorts of stuff n electronics. Definitely recommended.

Far from bullet proof.
Some people damage their speakers by playing too loud (frying HF element because exceeding its limit). Even if you take extreme care, corrosion can affect the sound (I've experienced this on my compression driver). After many years, the drivers will age badly and crack (due to nature).
This is why I don't want to buy expensive speakers unless I'm filthy rich.

Perhaps some people do not know the importance of the power output of the amplifier.

If the amp is under powered and matched with speakers that are power hungry, then there is a high chance it will damage the speakers, especially when played loud.
It is always better to have amps that can deliver large amounts of power.

Else it will be like putting a 660cc engine into a SUV.

Also, the power output of AVRs cannot be trusted.
It is always overstated.

Wah, so many responses from bro here! Thank you!

Mine is a Tannoy 605SE which I bought from UK when I was studying there. It's > 30 years.

The cone is made from rubber and it's melted/disintegrated already. Out of sentimental value, I would like to repair it instead of buying a new one.

I am pretty sure there is no more spare parts available anymore. Managed to get a contact from Swee Lee and hopefully he can help fix this for me.

I'll definitely go to those other shops recommended if he can't fix this.

Thank you!
