I was in similar situation too.
Googling around revealed that it was possible to convert RJ11 to RJ45 but the speed will be tampered significantly to around 10-20Mbps.
And this has higher chance to deteriorate over time.
The plan was cancelled and eventually I decided to setup a mesh WiFi.
Ethernet from living room to master room, reuse current telephone line
