This is slow burn Sci fi. The same as Blade Runner. People come to the show in anticipation of pow! wow! kablamo! But instead served a political drama. 😁

It depend. I think the location plays a part. The city visuals are probably gonna fill the gaps of boringness in Blade Runner. But in Dune there is only sand.

The good balance of viewer attention retention is the political sci fi..... Star Wars. laugh.gif Except the one starting from Jar Jaw binks. The newer ones while are impressive visually, i really can't deal with the nonsense of magically appearing last Jedi that has no relation to anyone.
