The 2.5l ones are more reliable, supposedly it comes with a better CVT than the 2.0l versions and more importantly from the factory it was fitted with a heavier duty transmission fluid cooler.

An underrated car that's very comfortable especially to do long distance though fuel consumption a bit high.

Good cars, especially in GT trim but the real workhorse in Kia are the Sorentos and Sportage with the diesel engines. Those can really run and very durable vehicles.

Pity for the buyer expecting it to be cheap because of its' reputation for no resale value because those diesel ones hold their values every bit as good as a Toyota or Honda.
