sorry, a bit off topic.
what software was she trying to install on this system?
i have an M1 iMac, if there are apps requiring intel-based system, M1 devices will have an emulator (Rosetta) running to run these intel-based app.

here's mine in comparison for Universal > M1 > Intel Based apps.
i think universal apps were built adaptable to different OSs? just sharing! good luck w the selling if she's selling it anyway.

Hi there,
Sorry late reply, a bit tied and I am still limited to 3 post per day.

She is using the entire Adobe CC.
From what she told me; whenever she use runs both Photoshop and Illustrator with huge files (1GB ++) it would slow down the whole Mac compared to her old MacBook Pro Intel 8GB.

In any case she is planning to get rid of this fella and get an Intel one.
Thanks for your wishes smile.gif smile.gif

Hi all,

The MacBook was purchased by my friend's ex-colleague yesterday night.

Thanks for your view and support.
