I think, Those are definitely created and posted by certain group and not from the company or brokers.

In the end if shits happens, the company or brokers will deny any knowledge of that posting....

1. if they say coin is from erc-20, make sure you can swap into btc/eth/ usdc/usdt rightaway
2. if your coin is in erc20, then it's weird to have it in toy exchange place.
