Aside from the memory leak bug, all Unix type system will maximize usage of RAM by keeping as much data as possible in RAM and minimize the available free memory, it's different from Windows.
For the memory leak issue, I think it's fixed in 12.1, at least when I tested yesterday under the same scenario, kernel panic does not happen anymore.

This one i am not sure about it so have to check with IT. By the way, I can get Logitech Mx Master 3 instead of Magic Mouse. tongue.gif

I keep the magic keyboard though. tongue.gif

Don't use magic mouse, it sucks. I have both but sold the magic mouse off.

Do you find scrolling on the mx master 3 not smooth or lags?
think you made the right choice smile.gif

Mine is ok, actually I use it on my mac mini with High Sierra, so not sure if it’s MacOS problem. Have you installed the latest Logi Options?

no I don't use a logo mouse, im more of a trackpad person... but when I was checking out mouse last time I did some research on the max master 3 and Magic Mouse etc... ended up getting the Magic Mouse, and didn't use it coz of the ergonomics, its just not comfy for me but some people actually like them... so I guess its personal preference..
*
I see. Yeh, the ergonomic of the mouse is bad, I have minor carpal tunnel syndrome, can’t use it at all.

Any comments on the screen and speakers of the 2021 MacBook Pro ?

From the reviews I've read/watched 16" has the better speaker ... but just wanting to compare from those who have a previous gen MacBook/iPad Pro or even Windows based.

Really tempted to go for the 16", but daily usage is really just browsing & typing. is iPad Pro or upcoming MacBook Air a better fit ?
*
You gotta test it to believe, the bass is deep, also much better range. I have not used any laptop with such good speakers.

Can confirm this happens to me too since many years ago but actually the issue is not with the Macs, but depends on the power outlets/sockets/extension plugs.
Maybe some of those outlets have different power wattage. Most of the outlets I use are okay, but a few specific ones keep on generating the static.
*
Same here, happens on certain outlets, nothing to do with Mac. It happened on my old Windows PC too on a particular outlet.

For portability Anywhere 3 win, hands down. However if your usage is more stationary then perhaps can consider MX3
*
I own both. If you have carpal tunnel syndrome, go for master 3. Anywhere 3 is for portability only.

So it's portability vs comfort? I would go for comfort any day..coz the mouse is not too big of an item to consider its portability like a macbook or ipad etc.
*
To me it's portability vs less painful wrist, lol
