Recently my Shopee Account Restricted due to Violation of Policies!
Anyone having such issue? What's wrong?
I'm just a standard buyer.

let me guess: u ordered thing or two from your own shop/spouse using different account?

So maybe actually first let us know what have you done to trigger such restriction? Did you do some shady things or were they the ones being oversensitive?

Shopee sucks anyway. They kenot tahan pipul game their system to get more discounts. Their whole stupid app is a game to get discount anyways. They made the app this way. Then pikachusurprise.jpg when someone does it.

I always check the finally payment before top up. Including back & forth check out & adding discount vouchers & coins. Does this caus "suspicious" ?

i dun know. i just read a thread by a crazy TS who also got same issue. If u use multiple accounts to game the discount code, got possibility of ban

Definitely something else. I also do that often, don't see I get banned for that. So have you contacted their CS and see what dumb reason they give?

don't think it is not allowed. Although free shipping, but will increase their overall revenue too. Probably TS did smtg shady like dealing outside shoppe. the system very pro can detect it. Possibly ts give his hp number to the seller ask the seller to contact him. straight ban one.

Good luck getting anything out of support. Last time I tried find out why my review comment censored it took a month lots of messages and live chats to find out exactly why.

You can always chat with CS and ask whats the issue. they'll inform you.

Live chat CS might hang up on him if they decided its not in their interest to tell TS. I had at least 2 chats terminated while waiting when I asked why I was censored. They said wait we will refer to supervisor 5mins later suddenly session ends. Other live chats promised to email me etc.

did you type out your phone number in any of the chats with any seller?

your experience, my experience and TS's experience may be different. A seller and I keep nudging CS for like 2 weeks after we agreed with to settle with return refund baru we got respond from them.
In the end TS still have to contact CS 1 way or another.. unless he really did something illegal la then diam2 get a new phone number and hope no need to verify mykad.

these is banned by automatic detection, could be false positive, could be something u did nobody here really knows except shopee cs.

I kena before about 2 years ago. 4 ppl in household. We were using 5 accounts for this house. For obvious reasons lah. free shipping, vouchers, coins, Shopee Quiz. Anyway 4 of them got banned. 1 escaped, dunno why. The 4 reinstated a few days later. Shopee wanted to make sure that the ppl actually exists. The fifth account was actually a mistake cos my wife forgot her password so she created another one. Then later she remembered the password.

3 more accounts using in-laws house and my other unoccupied house, not affected.

Anything that you may have done to trigger this? You should get an email stating the reason. Mine were things like "free shipping voucher abuse" or just "voucher abuse".

Free shipping abuse probably based on house address....

Its like this, rule is 1 Free Shipping per Account.
The reason is the Free Shipping Voucher is limited.

So, imagine, a buyer open unlimited number of accounts to claim vouchers. Definetely, Shopee would not approve and thus calls it as an abuse.

Multiple accounts under one phone IMEI?
Using emulator?
Same card in different account?

As far as I know different account but same delivery address is ok.

For free shipping, quite sure it's the house address. Payment method as well. All my family's accounts use the same. Easy to detect. Nothing wrong though if it's legit.

I did. But they seemed can't get involved! So they asked me to wait for the relevant department to investigate. I got the email too! In fact, still waiting!

Your case seemed to be suspected is reasonable ya! In fact. Mine, funny! 1 account in the house! 🤷🏻‍♂️

As usual, it's close one eye until you triggered their red flags (typically too many dupes, own self buying from own store, run on emulator/modded app and etc), then they will one go ban all suspected accounts and ask you to do individual verification on all accounts.

No worries lah, if one account only, should be no problem.

My issue was simple they don't wish let me know I kept pushing for a month before and email let me know. Seems seller claim they didnt report me it was Shopee themselves. I was censored because of the word in review I use "stupid" was highly offensive word etc not in line with their platform bla bla.

I use that word not critical of seller no I gave him 5 star I used because my package Penang seller to Penang buyer went for holiday in Pahang. I said something like its stupid mistake of courier sent my package to wrong place. They censored review due to word stupid but leave comments / reviews with explicit photos at the time for some 18sx products with photos of penis etc without being censored and my stupid is only one censored.

My household got 5 shopee acc. Never kena before. Maybe buying the same item using many acc.

I usually alternate using each acc.

hi, i have two accounts and i confess because i need the free shipping vouchers. they managed to detect it and banned one of my accounts. i still have RM20+ inside and 1000+ coins, anyone manage to get back the money ?

Utilize and SPEND ALL of whatever's in that unbanned account then contact them that you want to terminate the unbanned and PREFERED to continue with the banned one. That's what I did.

i plan to ask them transfer the credit in the banned account to my current account. possible ?

Scary. I have so many coins with them. If they "decide" to terminate me, I will lose all the coins. I can imagine it's scary if you have say 1k RM worth of coins

No one is going to help you at this point. That is how the world is at the moment. In fact, they will probably ridicule you for being the one who complain against the system and even say it's your fault even if you have a valid reason.

Yes gaming the system is now wrong. Instead of changing the system and designing the system such that gaming cannot be done, they now accuse you of being the one who is creating the issue.

Look at the tng digital thread. You will notice that whenever someone makes the case as to why why you deposit money using credit card and then withdraw and your account get banned or your cc cannot be used, they will say it's your fault. Funny dun you think how many sickos are there these days?

And I bet you that this very comment will get reported. Because that is how sick people are these days.

When a seller prints out the shipping label, the phone number is there for everyone on earth to see.

And there are sellers who offer in-store pickup with phone no and business address displayed.

Shopee is getting very strict now. Sellers must prove the shipping CN details or get banned. For buyers never abuse the voucher especially the new user voucher.

No problem. My device has two accounts too. They detect IPs for sure. But ok

will using a vpn help to hide myself from getting ban ?
