After hair transplant , u still need to take med to slow down the hair loss because it is genetic problem . The transplant hair might survive since thy take it frm the back part of head which is less sensitive to DHT  but if u dont take med , other part will fall also then u hv not enuf of strong hair to transplant liao . The better solution is SMP (scalp micro pigment ) , shave it and put taatoo mirco pigment so that ur head wont look licin , tis shd be cheap and tahan lama like 5yrs as the natural pigment might faded
