replacing my car drive shaft due to this but which brand to pick?
GSP seems to be in this industry for quite long, quality should b ok i guess, unable to look for reviews online. anyone tried?

meanwhile Gaido offers 1 Year/60k km warranty

both left & right drive shaft costs+labour:
Gaido = around RM680
GSP = around RM760

i've been told from service centre that they can replace the cv joint only
the labour for removing and replacing all 4 joint it is slightly cheaper around RM100 than replacing the whole assembly,
but might not last long as the disassemble of cv joint might damage the drive shaft or so.

Unless u find a really good place to swap the CV joint, i would suggest replacing the whole assembly. for me, 7 out of 10 times it doesnt turn out well.

yes im worried that repair CV joint might just last a year or so than changing the whole assembly.
replaced the CV boot due to the old one broke and splashed all round the rim and knocking sound when turning.
6 months later the noise came back, just minor, CV boot is still ok.

Need to know your original drive shalf condition, usually experience mechanic need to check if it is too loose or "longgar" to begin with.
If it is too loose changing new CV joint head wont help much as the original main shalf already wear too much..
If drive shalf is around 100k range maybe still can fix, if over 200k better change new 1..

decided to just replace the whole assembly as the price just slight different, worry free for another 100k km, got quoted as below:
new CV joint +silicone boot + grease x4 total RM450, labour 3 hoursx80 RM240 total RM690
assembly RM680 + labour 1.5hoursx80 RM120 total 800

they showed me the cv joint got no resistance and loose, unable to get a picture of that.
sharing my current drive shaft condition,
