What is the contemporary plaster ceiling design? Please share some photos of your house plaster ceiling design.

How much the cost for flat and light trough in Klang Valley?

Running led strip lines are the modern design.

Those RGB led?

No no, just warm white led strips.

Tube or strip? got photo?

Used to be flourescent tube in old days, with shadow spots coz of the ends..now strips are all perfectly evenly lit and affordable too

Is this preferred vs LED T5 nowadays?

T5 tubes cannot flatten to the plaster ceiling.
LED strips are the ones that can flush to ur plaster ceiling and easily replaceable and long lasting too!

Do u know what is this (black lining) material? Where can get it?

Looks like a coat of black paint on another board.

Is it paint or some sort of alloy lining?

If need to be thin,
Can be black anodised alu sheet or black acrylic. Or even spray painted alu/zinc sheet.

Else if thickness not an issue, black painted gypsum board seems to be more economical.

planning to have led strips with pelmet and downlight.

any suggestion on the design wise and lighting arrangement.

Good luck in doing that.
I ended up tearing down the whole house plaster ceilings and redo with new led strips.
Super duper messy when already moved in.

What you mean? can elaborate more?

led strip is meant for decoration and normally installed in between the plaster ceiling and the top ceiling. You will still require downlights for daily activities at night.

is the lighting sufficient if we use eyeball downlight instead of those square/round normal one since if we have led strip on the pelmet ?

those pelmet lighting are only for ambience without normal led downlights its going to be quite dark. for bedroom still ok but general areas will feel so gloomy.
