Can easily reach RM15k per month.

I don't manage other people money. Sorry.

Not easy to scale up as to scale up need like USD30-90k. So takes time.
If you let options be your friend nope. if you go against it then yes. You are fighting uphill battle.
So far yeah for this year been nett positive. Lowest was USD2k. Yes every month is positive

There will always be losses. You cannot run away from it. If I tell you no losses I am god. But if you are a seller or net seller statistics will always be on your side. You will make money as 90% of the options will expire worthless.

most ppl will loss... 95% trader loss.. he is one of the 5%... rare person...

you are extrapolating much... smile.gif

yes he said watch youtube... a good channel will give you the knowledge and basics to get started... but one needs enough practice to be good... and good doesn't means you can be great world champions... smile.gif

but good is good enough lah imho... he also said needs "motivation, persistence and discipline" biggrin.gif
most ppl are inherently lazy... they want easy money... most don't want to learn, let alone work... if one needs 4 years to get a degree and a few more working to be good, one should at least spend a year or so to learn proper trading and options, but who wants to do that?

also ppl are generally risk averse... and trading stocks/options is not academic and less understood... ppl only hear that most trader lose money, but traders who win especially those that win a lot usually keeps quiet... and those that says they are doing OK, ppl tend to believe they will go bust eventually... laugh.gif

when there are proper trading seminars and lessons... skeptics would say "if so good he/she would be full time getting rich, so he/she must not be good and we are the sacrificial lamb"... problem for the noobs is hard to tell legit from scams... one needs some level of experience to select the proper instructors... so begins a chicken and egg story here...

as for the professors and financial professionals... these are a separate line of expertise... just as there are fundamental and technical analysis in trading and investing...
anyways... if you guys have never heard of the turtle experiment... https://www.investopedia.com/articles/tradi...tle-trading.asp

ppl who want to share usually scammer...
main income is from selling classes...

No govt will like people FIRE
FIRE is selfish

you have agreed on 2 points above.

on that part ...'very very difficult to FIRE,,,,only very few people can  FIRE....`

you might want to rethink about that........
you know why?

it is difficult only for low income earners
many in here can easily FIRE if they want to....me included

anyway well done for your response, i am waiting for more solid rebuttal
*
Interesting points.
my opinion... fire save to spend later... meaning still need to spend.
so still contributing to the country's economy. but just delayed spending...
let say in our life time plan to spend 1 million in total.
but if sick/die / company close early also cannot gain 1 million.
so in a way, its same as fire... more or less...

QUOTE(MGM @ Aug 28 2025, 11:42 AM)
Anyone tried copy trading?

Copy trading enables individuals in the financial markets to automatically copy positions opened and managed by other selected individuals.

Unlike mirror trading, a method that allows traders to copy specific strategies, copy trading links a portion of the copying trader's funds to the account of the copied investor.[1][2] Any trading action made thenceforth by the copied investor, such as opening a position, assigning Stop Loss and Take Profit orders, or closing a position, are also executed in the copying trader's account according to the proportion between the copied investor's account and the copying trader's allotted copy trading funds.[3]

The copying trader usually retains the ability to disconnect copied trades and manage them themselves. They can also close the copy relationship altogether, which closes all copied positions at the current market price. Copied investors, who are called leaders or signal providers, are often compensated by flat monthly subscription fees on the part of a trader, a signal follower, seeking to copy their trades.[4] Apart from that, popular investors may earn up to 100% spread rebate on their personal transactions. The reward schemes serve to stimulate traders to allow others to monitor and copy their trades instead of trading privately.[2]

tried before but still lose money.
like these copied trade sooner or later will burst all investor money once accumulated.
so better stay away from it...

lets take adam khoo as an example...

1. makes money from trading and investing
2. makes money from youtube
3. makes money from physical classes
4. makes money from online learning
5. makes money from mentoring

its call diversification... multiple income streams

its good to be skeptical... as always do your own due diligence

looks like main income not trading.

Got I have seen some mat salleh did that. Earning like USD100Ak per month, when retrenchment came, voluntarily retrenched himself and do LEAN FIRE. Some walk away from well paying tech job and FIRE in 30-40s. Maybe not common in Malaysia.
That guy is shark. 😡
The only thing good that I learnt from him are
1. Buy quality stocks
2. Buy the f*****g dip (stuff I have already been doing)
*
So as expected lh... not making biased conclusion.

Adam Khoo is a polarizing figure in trading education. Here's a balanced analysis:

**1. Credentials & Background**
- Singaporean entrepreneur/educator since 1990s
- Published trading books ([*Profit from the Panic*](https://www.adam-khoo.com/books), [*Winning the Game of Stocks*](https://www.adam-khoo.com/books))
- Founder of AKLTG (Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group)

**2. Trading Methodology**
- Teaches technical analysis strategies
- Focuses on:
- Trend following
- Momentum trading
- Risk management (1-3% position sizing)
- Advocates systematic trading plans

**3. Verification Challenges**
- Publicly shares portfolio statements but lacks independent audit
- Primary income appears to come from education business (not verified trading profits)
- No verifiable hedge fund/trading firm track record

**4. Student Feedback**
- Mixed reviews:
- *Positive*: Structured learning, psychological discipline emphasis
- *Critical*: Overly basic content for experienced traders, expensive courses (S$3,000-S$10,000)

**5. Regulatory Standing**
- Not associated with major trading scandals
- Courses focus on education (not investment advice)
- SGX-accredited educator for some programs

**Recommendation**:
While Khoo demonstrates deep market knowledge, prospective students should:
1. Start with free resources (YouTube/webinars)
2. Paper-trade strategies before live implementation
3. Compare with other educators (Rayner Teo, Anton Kreil)
4. Understand that trading success requires personal adaptation of any taught system

His programs may benefit disciplined beginners but might underwhelm advanced traders seeking proprietary edge. Always verify claims through third-party sources before financial commitments.
