I believe most of the Maxis postpaid subscriber using the new phone, already got the latest network VoLTE in KL area. Just wondering, for those who not yet get the VoLTE, just want confirm few things. 1. Do your Maxis using multi sim card include e-sim with same number (means 2 physical sim card tied to your main number)? 2. Does Maxis VoLTE only support single sim card? (I'm not referring dual sim card slot). Most of the latest model phone support VoLTE (dual sim card slot). 3. If support multi sim card what are the setting we need to do? Because I already tried to ask Maxis, and they said no solution.
If you have any solution, please share here.
Thank you.

VoLTE on iPhones are no different than VoLTE on Android devices, just a matter of configuration from Maxis in their database that your phone(device)/ multi-SIM lines are whitelisted or not, just call them and ask if they can provide a solution or not? If not, do what I do, lodge a report to MCMC straightaway (I'm using Hotlink Prepaid), I used their Terms and Conditions against them where it mentioned Prepaid Unlimited Plan users can enjoy VoLTE since March 2021 where I didn't get VoLTE, few days later, they called me and informed VoLTE has been enabled for me.

I'm on maxis & celcom
1. esim: maxis 2. physical sim: celcom 3. Both got volte
Issues: 1. Intermitten issue on maxis volte.. i can't hear what the caller is saying. Like muted mic from the caller. 3rd time calling, then able to hear. 2. raise case to maxislisten.. not providing a concrete solution. 3. for peace of mind, i ended up disabling volte. no more 'muted' mic issue
Not sure if this is esim related or maxis. I hv no issue on volte @ celcom

QUOTE(netbeans @ Oct 10 2021, 12:42 PM) Logged case to maxislisten. See if issue resolved Update: 1. Changed to physical sim @ maxis 2. Changed to esim @ celcom 3. Enable VoLTE on both no. 4. Called frm Maxis no., 1st call not successful (can’t hear the other party) 5. Called frm Celcom no., successful on 1st call (no issue) 6. Call location; Paradigm Mall, PJ 7. Can safely conclude it is not eSIM issue
