QUOTE(royrockerfella @ Oct 5 2021, 10:21 PM) Dude, you need to get the facts right. Yes, I do want to hire them because I want to help people however people have to be HONEST. When everything was carried out I more or less knew that in that department, the salary for the experience they have is about RM 4k - RM 5k. Every company has company equity. If you look at a call center for example, all people who have the same role have a certain salary range. Most will have RM 2k and the lower ones maybe RM 1.8k and the ones who have a high salary in that same role might have RM 2.5k maybe. You won't see a guy in that same department getting RM 10k no? This is common sense. why would anyone agree to an increase without first knowing the figure? Now, when everything was discussed, I did not ask upfront how much they earned because I don't really care and it doesn't bother me since I know how much I am going to offer anyway. Now, they should be getting about RM 4k - RM 5.5k at most. I just asked them to email me IC, 3 months pay slap and certifications. The salary slip is RM 10k+. Now, these 2 are not superstars. For their age and experience, I am pretty sure their salary is half. Now, they asked in the call for at least 20% increase from what they are getting. I verbally just agreed and said I would need their pay slips and when they emailed, I saw RM 10k+ which means I would need to offer them RM 12k. Is that a problem for the company? No. We can even pay more but this is NOT BEING HONEST. These kind of people should be exposed. I don't think it's right for anyone to exploit the system and the reason people do it is because everything is confidential. That is the bloody problem. since you already have a figure in mind, which is less than half of what they're asking, they wont get onboard anyway. no harm no foul, unless there's something you're not telling us. this just smells like someone trying to correct a mistake. |

QUOTE(royrockerfella @ Oct 6 2021, 04:28 PM) I think you need to know what the situation is. I do this on a daily basis. I recruit people. I see people faking salary slips everyday. Now, most people who earn RM 3k. When asked how much they are earning some would say RM 3.5k and they are looking for something which pays an additional 20% more. When I get their pay slips, the actual pay is only RM 3k however many always say they earn via casual labor / OT is paid in cash by bosses sometimes and I don't even bother. Yes, they do want to earn more and that is normal. However, there are many people who want the easy way out, salary RM 3k however they put in the slip as RM 8k. This is not acceptable and should be stopped. thats just really sloppy. If he did not falsify? I WILL HIRE HIM. As I have said before, I know some mutual people wo work with them and for the job they do, no, they don't get RM 10k plus. It's RM 3.5k - 5k. Stating it's 10k is NOT RIGHT. Do we have a huge budget yes. Should we pay if they are telling the truth? Yes, why not. If they really are getting paid that much at their young age with not much experience, it means they are probably the most amazing guys in the company. The problem is, these guys are average staff. The interview wasn't superb but then again who is? I was still willing to say "Okay, let's just hire with a 20% increase as what they wanted" So now, this means I would have to pay them RM 12k plus? I'm not hiring a VP. I'm looking for a normal ops associate. This faking of the salary has to stop and the reason it hasn't is because everything is confidential which means everyone has that opportunity to lie. |
