Lol TS. Salary is PnC. Candidates can choose to reveal the truth or not. But for sure no MNC is stupid to risk their company with the govt due to PDPA. This Act covers personal data of an employee.
As for your choice to hire them or not, if you can't pay or decided to lowball, then don't hire. Mai be cheapskate offer salary suddenly wanna go back against it. Shows your value and dignity as a hiring manager.
Luckily I don't work for cheapskate companies like yours. And that is why I don't work for Chinaman companies. Capalang company. Stingy, cheapskate, and with sampah mentality. I've been in audit line for years before going to MNC. Seen many of these capalang companies during my audit. Some even tried to woo me from my audit firm with a low salary, saying they are paying above market rate. Sampah. Today I'm earning so big, I should congrats my younger self for refusing to join these capalang companies. There's a reason companies like Vitrox can go so big in barely 15 yrs against a company like yours, who even need to beg a friend from MNC for help. Hahaha jokers.

QUOTE(royrockerfella @ Oct 5 2021, 10:21 PM) Dude, you need to get the facts right. Yes, I do want to hire them because I want to help people however people have to be HONEST. When everything was carried out I more or less knew that in that department, the salary for the experience they have is about RM 4k - RM 5k. Every company has company equity. If you look at a call center for example, all people who have the same role have a certain salary range. Most will have RM 2k and the lower ones maybe RM 1.8k and the ones who have a high salary in that same role might have RM 2.5k maybe. You won't see a guy in that same department getting RM 10k no? This is common sense. Now, when everything was discussed, I did not ask upfront how much they earned because I don't really care and it doesn't bother me since I know how much I am going to offer anyway. Now, they should be getting about RM 4k - RM 5.5k at most. I just asked them to email me IC, 3 months pay slap and certifications. The salary slip is RM 10k+. Now, these 2 are not superstars. For their age and experience, I am pretty sure their salary is half. Now, they asked in the call for at least 20% increase from what they are getting. I verbally just agreed and said I would need their pay slips and when they emailed, I saw RM 10k+ which means I would need to offer them RM 12k. Is that a problem for the company? No. We can even pay more but this is NOT BEING HONEST. These kind of people should be exposed. I don't think it's right for anyone to exploit the system and the reason people do it is because everything is confidential. That is the bloody problem. LOL I just go hired by a MNC. They didn't ask upfront how much I earn. I gave them my payslip when the HR team ask me for it. She says my salary is quite high for my pay grade. Then after a few days, they came back telling me I'll be given a higher position to justify my pay grade and gave me an even better package lol lol. If you think u can't pay 12k+, then offer what you can give. If they can't accept, move on je la. Why die die want lowball. Kopitiam is a jokers corner. Lol your post got downgraded leh. Kiamsiap mentality is a lifelong mentality. Once kiamsiap, forever kiamsiap. Cannot change. You sendiri up your gaji then do the job yourself la. Easy.

QUOTE(nicole_4ever @ Oct 5 2021, 11:02 PM) But most companies request for pay slip...Can we ignore actually? We can. I went for interview once. They asked for it, which I refused to give. Then they came back offering a salary almost same with my current salary. They felt I jack up my numbers to fake it. I decided not to respond. Another company came along offering me what I want without payslip. I joined them. The stingy company asked why wait 2 weeks only decided to reject them. They don't have that much time to joke around. I told them "if your company so stingy can low ball me and don't trust my numbers, I doubt your company is worth working for. As an employee, I'm entitled to the best on offer". I told them I wasn't joking, but keeping my options open. Just like they hold me for 1 mth after my interview to keep their options open for the best candidate. It's a fair world.

QUOTE(royrockerfella @ Oct 6 2021, 12:20 AM) Err, you work for Vitrox? I think everyone here works for companies which are bigger than yours and I also believe everyone here gets paid way more than you do. If you have to shout out and announce that you're earning big bucks that you obviously aren't. lol Lol which company u working for? Hahaha I've worked for so many big companies. American blue chips, Malaysia blue chips. Never seen one hiring manager question my payslip or ask why I can't provide my payslip. Hahaha Chinaman company only will question shit. U even create another thread just to ask about salary. Funny guy. MNC HR not so free to check on another person salary. Small man, small mind la u. One of my previous company gave employer EPF portion 17.5. 2 days wfh, 2.5 months fixed bonus, Flexi working hours, I used to masuk 9.30am and leave 4.30pm. gym benefits, car loan benefits, dental and specs, mobile benefits. And I'm just a new hire that time with normal finance executive position. Lol I was given all these 5 yrs ago when I join the company. Wonder your Chinaman company will give the above benefits to any employees 5 yrs ago. Many other benefits also not mentioned here. This post has been edited by beebee1314: Oct 6 2021, 09:03 AM
