QUOTE(-GILA- @ Jan 14 2008, 12:54 AM) Means u're saying is not legal to play it if not in the paintball field? Actually I ask them about it and they say the major concern is about the pallets. Also also they pallets DO dissolve but is just matter of time. I just need to know how long does it takes. And yea we hav alot of marshals around to patrol the area incase anyone enter the "ZONE". I do know the danger of playing paintball without netting. What about safety gear for your players ? Marshals or not, its still illegal regardless if you have permission from the land owner, afaik. Sure, you may think nothing bad might happen, but as we all know, Murphy is always lurking somewhere waiting to pounce on your unsuspecting as.s when you least expect it. As it is, paintballing, regardless recball or speedball has enough flak and mis-conception from the general public. I dont know what you're up to ... But please do not ruin the scene for the rest of us paintballers just because you and your bunch of friends have some mis-guided idea or notion on having some outlaw paintball. =| |

QUOTE(caerulln @ Jan 26 2008, 01:14 AM) rm800 i good price. where to get the price? skirmish? If you're planning to play recball, it would be better to get a Tippmann A5. Solid sturdy construction. Its durable, reliable and can be upgraded easily in terms of looks and performance. i intends to play mostly woodsball. (very near to my house.walk also can Don't like speedball (i think. haven't tried anyway) so the modes are enough. don't really need ramping in the woods i guess.. but in the website stated it can only use compressed air? co2 cant? compressed air is expensive right? Not to mention you dont have to spend more money on a hopper. Built in cyclone system can feed up to 17 pellets per second right out of the box. If you really want to get into recball, get your facemask/goggles first. Play a few games and get more advice and then decide what to buy. Added on January 26, 2008, 1:29 am QUOTE(alkt @ Jan 26 2008, 01:20 AM) woodsball/recball/speedball is still paintball...dun need to segregrate them IMO. Gonna be 2 Aarons there la later you dopefish. >_<play in woods also u may need to ramp wut just get compressed air and use, more accuracy involved here. btw, tmr we got a big game in Isi Rimba starting at 930am+. do drop by to check it out. look for me, aaron This post has been edited by Auricom: Jan 26 2008, 01:29 AM |

QUOTE(caerulln @ Jan 26 2008, 01:41 AM) dun worry. i'm not being a "ballist" here :P Most fields got both CO2 and HPA. HPA is considered by most to be better. More consistent in most weather conditions and less wear and tear on internal parts. Key word here being "considered".yes air is more accurate. but how much is the tank & accesories (if any) (skirmish quote rm140 for 20oz co2 tank) Isi rimba got compressed air supply? Or is it all the fields here got? this is just a plan for the near future. definitely gonna play 1st. probably gonna buy Dye Pro I3 goggle  A5 is a bit expensive at rm1200 rm800 kind of a sweet spot for me i think the main cause of marker failure is improper maintenance. i'm very meticulous about cleaning stuffs :) Refer to my previous answer. Getting a e-hopper, be prepared to spend at least another RM300. Unless you wanna be using a vanilla gravity fed hopper. So end of the day it works out to be the same. |

QUOTE(caerulln @ Jan 31 2008, 02:09 AM) guys, at Isi Rimba, student price of Rm40 for 100 pellets. Lol, which hat did you pull the numbers out from ?Is there any T&C for that price? eg. on weekdays only? Afaik and iirc, non-members have the following options: Starter Pack = RM80 (Marker & CO2 + 300 Rounds) 500 Rounds = RM70 1 Box (2000 Rounds) = RM260 This post has been edited by Auricom: Jan 31 2008, 04:30 AM |

@ caerulln
Those are the starter packs prices that come with a house marker, gas and house goggles. 100 rounds are about +- only half a hopper full. Lol, the backman in most speedballer teams will tell you they shoot out more rounds than that during the breakout. So you want to to be paying RM40 for a Student Starter pack with 100 rounds or RM90 for a Standard Starter pack with 300 rounds ? QUOTE(caerulln @ Jan 31 2008, 02:09 AM) guys, at Isi Rimba, student price of Rm40 for 100 pellets. You did phrase your question, asking only about the pellets, not starter packs ... Is there any T&C for that price? eg. on weekdays only? |

QUOTE(MK84 @ Mar 31 2008, 09:46 AM) Saturday working... then training cancelled on Sunday. The mini CnC I didn't sign up. Too close to tourney. Aiyo MK, you should have came. 103 people showed up. (104 if you counted Aaron as he showed up to be the chrono marshal) Minus Patrick, Alvin (Spyke), Ean and Me, there were 99 people in the big valley and it was raining paint as they were exchanging fire in the middle. QUOTE(meen @ Mar 31 2008, 05:33 PM) You wanna be the 1st guinea pig in Malaysia to field test a T9 ? Afaik, no one this side of the world is fielding one as it is freaking expensive. Last I heard, Napshot is still trying to get rid of their T8 and T9 demo units. If you want it brand new, they can order it in for you. Napshot is in Damansara Perdana. QUOTE(badman @ Mar 31 2008, 05:44 PM) eh.. did u get to shoot the guy with the white T in the speedball field..? heheheh... Lol, he was the same team as me. Besides, I was doing a "Patrick". I didnt notice that my Apex barrel was turned sideways and I shot out two fellars that were hiding behind bunkers. *cough* *cough* They must have been wondering how did the pellets come in from the side.err.. what's that..? Lol, actually, flying or anything that involves getting onboard an aircraft or x-ray machine or even any postage/courier service is generally avoided if it can be helped.
