Well, IMO, you might as well get a spyder vs2, rm800, if new, but around rm700 and below if 2nd hand. E-marker, pretty hardy for most situations and accuracy is pretty good.

spyder vs2 served me pretty well except for the o-ring leak at the on-off... which was annoying but it never happen in game and only outside... during the games it was great and can shoot ropes. though now i think price of proto slg i think thats quite a good shot as well but i think thats about around 900 to 1k ? im not sure... kinda guessing here.

rm800 i good price. where to get the price? skirmish?
i intends to play mostly woodsball. (very near to my house.walk also can Don't like speedball (i think. haven't tried anyway) so the modes are enough. don't really need ramping in the woods i guess.. but in the website stated it can only use compressed air? co2 cant? compressed air is expensive right? |

QUOTE(caerulln @ Jan 26 2008, 01:14 AM) rm800 i good price. where to get the price? skirmish? If you're planning to play recball, it would be better to get a Tippmann A5. Solid sturdy construction. Its durable, reliable and can be upgraded easily in terms of looks and performance. i intends to play mostly woodsball. Not to mention you dont have to spend more money on a hopper. Built in cyclone system can feed up to 17 pellets per second right out of the box. If you really want to get into recball, get your facemask/goggles first. Play a few games and get more advice and then decide what to buy. Or is it all the fields here got? this is just a plan for the near future. definitely gonna play 1st. probably gonna buy Dye Pro I3 goggle A5 is a bit expensive at rm1200 rm800 kind of a sweet spot for me i think the main cause of marker failure is improper maintenance. i'm very meticulous about cleaning stuffs |

QUOTE(caerulln @ Jan 26 2008, 01:41 AM) dun worry. i'm not being a "ballist" here :P Most fields got both CO2 and HPA. HPA is considered by most to be better. More consistent in most weather conditions and less wear and tear on internal parts. Key word here being "considered".yes air is more accurate. but how much is the tank & accesories (if any) (skirmish quote rm140 for 20oz co2 tank) Isi rimba got compressed air supply? Getting a e-hopper, be prepared to spend at least another RM300. Unless you wanna be using a vanilla gravity fed hopper. So end of the day it works out to be the same. |

If u plan to play recball/woodsball only then save a bit more and look for the A5. If still got no budget look for Tippmann 98 Custom or Custom Pro.
- Easy to maintain - Very sturdy and reliable - Easy to repair - Noobproof |
