Ok, let say u hav a paintball match in a jungle. But u know la rite, hav to keep the place clean and watsoever. So my question is how long does it takes for the paintball pallet to be dissolve of by itself. I dont want to know about the paint. That means after the match, paintball pallets will be everywhere. I'm asking this because I'm not playing in a paintball operator field. And that is like some kind of virgin jungle and they afraid we will damage or dirty the jungle. I've also create a thread about it, read it for more understanding. HERE

If you are not playing in a paintball field then it is not legal, think of the consequences.
Also the pellets i believe it will not dissolve. U gotta pick it all up and throw it away...unless u wanna wait til rain wash it away... |

Means u're saying is not legal to play it if not in the paintball field? Actually I ask them about it and they say the major concern is about the pallets. Also also they pallets DO dissolve but is just matter of time. I just need to know how long does it takes. And yea we hav alot of marshals around to patrol the area incase anyone enter the "ZONE". I do know the danger of playing paintball without netting. Also the pellets i believe it will not dissolve. U gotta pick it all up and throw it away...unless u wanna wait til rain wash it away... |

hmmm...it's ur choice then. i've stated that it is illegal and if u are caught by the army or police then good luck to u.
Isi Rimba is a paintball field which is legal and some of the area are already secured with nettings so in a way it is 'safe' to play. why can't people just listen eh? |

I do know the danger of playing paintball without netting. paintball operators are suppose to have a licence from the authority, without those, they'd obviously fall under the 'illegal operators' category... even the event itself would requires a permit... good luck there..ok, back to the pellet issue... whether it would sisolve or not, depends on the quality of the paintball itself, does it conform to the ASTM F1777 standard or just some cheapo paint to gain more benefit...? a std paintball is water-based, non-staining & biodegrable, which will wash off easily & won't hurt the environment.. don't think anybody here ever waited to see how long does it take for the paint to 'disolve' as non of us here are operators, meaning we don't have to look at the aftermath all day long.. ok, here's something on paintball safety.... in other word, MASK ON...!! http://www.medem.com/medlb/article_detaill...RSKC&sub_cat=32 This post has been edited by badman: Jan 14 2008, 02:36 PM |
