Yep

Once awake at 5am, saw them climbing the poles like a boss

They are always attracted to fruit trees.
One night they spent hours at the tree.
Fruits fell by their nitpicking attitudes
Very nuisance of they visit every night

Bats also another nuisance. They both the same.
Whole night sleepless if fruits season
Civets rustling the whole trees looking for the most tastiest, sweetest ones.

Their favourite.
Worse they took a bite but those haven't ripened ones. They won't eat unripe ones, just bite for syok. Go to waste only.
Bats also a menace. Keep flying around. They will swarm the tree.
At night the tree like got party going on for hours & hours till daylight

Poop dont smell but their distinctive pandan smelling urine can get abit nauseating. Also the noise they make when their tails scrape against the plaster ceiling can wake you up at night thinking its an intruder. I had one in my ceiling for two days before he decide to relocate. Difficult to catch these fellas. Best bet is hope they ciao when there is lack of a food supply.

TS maybe reconsider doing away with the mango tree outside your house.
