Performance RAM for laptop?

There are some performance RAM being sold for laptops. Just wondering is there any reason to get them as we do not usually overclock laptops.
Also, if it's mixed with existing RAM on the latop, will there be any problem? I am thinking of getting it purely due to the fact it is same price as normal ram. Or better to just get normal laptop RAM? |
