Its located next to Kota Raya...there is a shopping mall..called Sinma...go to 3rd floor where the whole floor sell dvd, software and games related items...

the shop is located near the toilet. it a corner shop and it has a projector there to demo the wii.

Asked this on the official thread but no one respond, so I try here, RM999 is it ok for this price? Only the console, 1 pair of controllers, no games or any extras.

But one thing I forgot to ask if it was AUS or JP version (I know its too cheap to be US version), it seems a bit cheaper compared to other prices I see here, which usually have more things included or is US version.

Is AUS version ok or not, will it cause problems, power supply or any problem?

Hey all... i'm planning to get a Wii but can someone please let me know the differences between a Japanese console and the US one? I mostly will be getting a modded one, though.

999 should be the japan set. Aus is the PAL set. Try to get NTSC if possible. And this is not the main thread.

biggest difference would be all the manual in Japanese and English and u cant change it. The other difference is certain japanese game dont work on US. A good example would be naruto

Ok i dont mind the console options are in japanese, but would the games' language be in japanese too?

games language is depending on games. If japanese games surely will be in japanese. Only a few games can change language but never I seen one from Japanese to English.

just found out that normal warranty given is only 1-3 months.... feels kinda of short.... hehe

due to new wii is currently cannot be modded
therefore the 900 bux is either clone chip or 2nd hand, cant really see how the boss can sell that price

Well, US CEO Reggie say there will be plenty of boxes to meet x'mas demand in US, hopefully it will be true and there will be plenty. If not, then same high price for US version right. Wish they all go and buy iPods and not the Wii heheh ... otherwise loong wait for price drop ...

they finally launch the Malaysia Wii by 11th September.
the Price is RM1699 US Wii + 1 extra Wiimote (excluded Nunchuck) + 1 games.

the price from GH is 1550 (not modded) with 1 game... really confuse which to choose. mod or not modded... US or JAP.. cause i survey that Jap machines do give problems in some games. like cannot play few titles such as cooking mama... well i not sure if this is true... Initially i tot of buying a Jap version as the translated manual is available... hehe just save some cost...

I think i will just get a modded US Wii. but the price i got from One U shops are quite pricey. about 1690 with one game and tat game i suspect is the wii sport...

I just survey from a shop at Holiday Plaza JB, RM 999 for modded JPN Wii set and RM 1250 for modded US Version + Wii Sports. And also nunchaku + remote = RM 160.

alrite, thnx for the site... means to say it depends on the mod chip the wii uses just like the prev console case (PS2)

how long is the warranty... me just hope to get a good deal around 1250 for US wii.. but in kl it seems quite difficult to get.... all i see is 1690++ somemore no stock, all i see is the jap version...
