yes you can, there is some application u need in macbook. BootCamp is one of it, u can get it free from Apple.com website. this application u need to shut down ur macbook to run the windows OS. Parallel Desktop, is one of this kind of application, but it can run windows OS during u using MacOS.

Bootcamp is installed in OSX , won't "deleting" OSX make bootcamp to be un-workable?

Need not buy an Apple and then run windows, sounds funny. I use Parellel and it works fine. After a while u would not want to run windows becos Mac is so much more better. It is course possible to run Windows only with Boot Camp where u have to partition the HD

well, not to say that Windows OS is not good..but you can run both on the system at the same time...some web applications will not run on Mac OS so I need to use back Windows to run on it. Using Coherence is the best!!!

That must be quite some RAM you've got there to handle so many processes on your kernel

i run mac most of the time .
i just dont feel like going back to windows if there is no software limitation .
my coursemates who alwasys see me using macbook say they might get a mac becasue it seems to work very nice with the user and very user friendly .
i have to say , YES , it is very very user firnedly once u get used to it .
compared to xp , yes ... it works ddamn well ... more like a part of your soul .

anyway , i stil got parallels running becasue i still need some applications like Windows PowePoint ... i just scare some iwork elements wont fit on pp . i just run it maybe 1 in 1 month ? hehehe... just for some formal work on it . anyway , i just allocate 256mb for it only .

btw , i have to say , mac is really user friendly . dont listen to those crap who say mac is hard to use . the fact remains as they just dont feel like trying it out and they just too kepala keras.

1. Yes its possible
2. Unless you want a really expensive windows machine that will look good but run like any other windows machine I don't see the point
3. Refer to 2. But honestly once you use MacOSX and I mean like really get into it without bias, you will love it.
4. Why not use the Mac version of PowerPoint? I use it all the time and I have no problems sending files back and forth and collaborating with my windows using classmates.

Can do all no problem. Use Boot Camp or Parallels.

ok... i noob about mac... that's y i open this threat to know more bout mac stuff....
u know not every1 like "you" got that time to do all those reseaching....
y not ask some pro/mac users here to get some quick tips...
due to my job here i hardly got the time to get online and check on stuff/ reseaching.. (although i was working on IT line)
but i hardly involve with mac...
i have long heard about the adv of mac OS... but wat i really worry is on the compatible of gaming... (i quite a hardcore gamers sometimes smile.gif )
