yes you can, there is some application u need in macbook. BootCamp is one of it, u can get it free from Apple.com website. this application u need to shut down ur macbook to run the windows OS. Parallel Desktop, is one of this kind of application, but it can run windows OS during u using MacOS.

but i hardly involve with mac...
i have long heard about the adv of mac OS... but wat i really worry is on the compatible of gaming... (i quite a hardcore gamers sometimes smile.gif )

For gaming, i think you better DON'T get a mac la, eventhough you can install windows in a mac machine.

Why?

Mainly cos you require to waste big $$ buying a mobility/laptop based machine, such as iMac or macbook pro, macbook is a no-no for gaming. You should know that mobility is pricey, yet low-performance especially for graphic card. In order to play smoothly(Btw, i speaking in hardcore gamer, not some light gamer), you need Mac Pro which is a workstation (yet it's Overpower cos of the 2 server processors). Just for your extra info, there ain't any desktop machine for mac, except Mac Pro.

If you are really a hardcore gamer, just forget about mac machine. That's my opinion. But if you got a generic desktop machine(for gaming), and you want try out mac osx, then you properly can get a mac machine.  wink.gif

that's wat i wondering.. from wat i saw on the macbook pro .... it got a 8600m gc inside (or something similar).
but would it help it on going for gaming... or izzit for things like graphic designing stuff only...
and i think it wont help for gaming rite... coz not much game are develop for mac...

just curious hmm.gif smile.gif

Look mate , now there are many application that allows you to run Windows games on top of OSX . Plus you can always boot to windows and run those games

The graphics card is a gaming graphics card and it can take the latest and upcoming games. So you should not have a problem

thanks. it's just the answer i would like to hear biggrin.gif
i think apple have done a great job in combining mac os and windows together. at least they wider their range of buyer on their system. a great choice on switching to intel too.
i always dream on owning a mac, but due to it compatibility to gaming and their pricey tag, i have to pull myself off on thinking about it....
but now u can own 2 different system in 1 macbook (kind of tongue.gif ) it's pretty cool.... and i wont mind paying extra money for it... since i can get the best on both on both world.... rclxm9.gif

to be honest, Mac system is a very bad gaming system u can own, whatever it is
price/performance for gaming is poor

better get yourself a q6600 + Ati HD2900Xt+ ASUS bliz strike special edition+............

actually i prefer getting online and do stuff on internet more... gaming is just when i found some game i really like or at least got something to play when i was at home/bored. and the place i living doesn't hav broadband connection. so with a macbook, at least i can get wireless connection in a restoran or a cafe when i feel wan to.... buying a pc is not going to help much....

1 more thing... window vista hav been launch for almost a year i think... but i still can imagine wat window vista future is going to be like....
if the mac os leopard is coming out soon... i think windows vista should change the name to windows Snail.... with 2gb of 667mhz ram installed, it still nothing faster than a turtle..... and the security is all crap.....
