Help Mac mini, Problem with Mac Mini remote control

Hi ,
I've just bought myself a Mac Mini . Everything is fine and working well except for the remote control that I purchase separately . I've tested at the store when purchase it and its working . Do I need to install the software for it ? |

There's no driver for the remote. It just works out of the box.

never heard mac mini doesnt come with remote. Should come by default and no drivers required for it. you can try install boot camp and windows. see if the remote works in windwos to verify the IR hardware is not spoil in your mac mini.
