Would like to Create Discussion Topic & info / Recipe sharing on Tokit, Thermomix & Innochef.

I am a TM6 user but believe that there are a lot in common between this 3 machines and it is fast becoming an essential kitchen item much akin to the washing machine in laundry room.

Xiaomi OmniCook Tokit user posted image

Innochef user posted image

Each one has unique selling point and the intention here is for discussion & recipe sharing which can be implemented across these machines.

I believe Tokit shipments will be arriving soon to Malaysia smile.gif

Depends on what you are cooking, mostly I can multi task unless doing very specific task like kneading dough, mixing or blending.

I mean if you rely on 1 unit to do everything, you have to do work serially smile.gif

what kind of dishes? like Chicken Rice / Steamed fish + stir fry veg & rice can be done under 1hr + washing

for other dishes, I use it in conjunction with my stove and the best part is kneading bread as it kneads in a much shorter time compared to Breadmaker.

2.2l bowl can fit 1.2kg of whole chicken + 2 potatoes. So far enough to feed 5 adults.

I know some people say can fully replace the stove, but I would see this as an additional helper in the kitchen and can replace other electrical appliances such as steamer, blender and reduce washing up as well but not the stove.

Wow nice! I only have one but wish to compare with Tokit / Inoochef; I believe the recipes are mostly interchangeable with some tweaks

I’m a guy in his 30’s who hardly cook before, after gotten my tm6 I swear cooking is so easy. I’ve even made my own cake and cookies now and realize that cooking ur self saves lots of money and healthier.
It’s about time we have a thread on this. All my tm6 info I just gather from advisor WhatsApp group and fb, so clutter information in other platforms

Yeah same here, actually bought to make life easier for my mom; but end up I am using it. I registered as advisor as well for TM6 but feel these 3 are the closest to each other and need to be unified under one thread; for best user experience & info sharing.

This one seems like robot air fryer biggrin.gif

The three I mentioned can do more than stir fry and take over a number of appliance apart from the air fryer, pressure cooker & oven.

You won’t regret going for tm6. I almost wanted to buy tokit as well but the support and after sales service in Malaysia personally for me thermomix are better

If you want to "test drive" the TM6, just PM me yea.

Tokit key benefit is price and Highest Temp cooking for robot machine (180 degC)

TM6 is up to 160degC (but only via guided cooking mode)

Innochef is up to 140DegC only

But in terms of recipe availability Thermomix trumps the rest due to Thermomix has been establish for more than 50 years and more than 12 years in Malaysia (localisation). Thermomix Recipe Cloud has more than 75000 recipes but is subscription based at USD39/year (free 6 months upon purchase of Thermomix)

The other two has free recipe cloud but the recipes are not as vast as Thermomix, and whether you need all 75000 or not is a question but so far, I have been experimenting cooking recipes from the cloud (which turn out great) and also converting my manual recipes to be thermomixed.

Price wise Thermomix > Innochef > Tokit

I use a Thermomix, and while I was skeptical at first, it’s completely changed the way I cook. The ability to multitask while it handles precise temperatures and stirring is a game-changer, especially for things like sauces, risottos, and custards.

Tweaking standard recipes to get the most out of it. Some dishes need slight adjustments, like reducing liquids or increasing blending time, to match the results you’d get from traditional cooking. Have you experimented with adapting any family recipes?

Also, if you’re into making desserts, having a reliable source for whipped cream chargers makes a difference for things like mousses and foams. Mr Nang is great for that if you're in Melbourne and need a quick delivery.
